1) Dead Air is British musician Rainy Orteca (of Joan As Police Woman).

2) Dead Air is electro-noise duo Aaron Dilloway and John Olson. The pair released "Two" in 2005.

3) Dead Air is a British three-piece progressive metal band from Leeds. Formed in early 2011 by guitarists Cal Richardson and Bryn Durling, they quickly found a full line-up from around the north of Yorkshire.
The band is comprised of three members from Leeds, Cal Richardson, Bryn Durling and Drummer Mikey Divers, with vocalist Rob Crampsie finalising the line-up from York. Dead Air blend many influences from progressive acts such as, Born Of Osiris, SikTh, Architects and Cynic with better known acts like August Burns Red and Lamb Of God.
Previously mentioned band members Cal, Bryn and Mikey lived in the same town and attended high school together only forming the band once they had finished. Unable to find a capable vocalist, they decided to post ads across the internet attracting the attention of Rob Crampsie from York. An audition was quickly held and impressed by what they heard, Rob was welcomed into the fold.
In early 2012, Dead Air released their highly anticipated debut EP, Ethereal, to much praise. Mikey left soon after due to other commitments, which left DA without a drummer. Dead Air then recruited Tom Robson to play Bass after a constant struggle with less dedicated ones. Shortly after this, in May, they signed to Leeds based Indie record label, Big Dog Records, with which they will re-release their debut EP, Ethereal, after a re-mix and master from John Browne of 'Monuments' fame. After months of struggling to find the right man for the job, Jordan Dinsdale joined on Drums, completing their line-up.
