It has begun and it begins at :31 with a restrained, disciplined rhythm which carries us through each twist evoking the sufficient discipline needed to understand that all-encompassing struggle for faith and hope in relation to this journey. "Faith, hope, our charities. Greed, sloth, our enemies" 10,00 pages couldn't have said it better.

Every time I hear this song, I remember how they opened their concert with it...and then I can't help but smile.

I agree with darkthrone...Brendan has a wonderful voice, a true crooner, and his solo album Ark is a great showcase for what he can do without Lisa's voice overpowering him. Having said that, I still think she has the voice of a Goddess.

Btw if you enjoy this song I highly recommend that you buy Brendan Perry's solo project "ARK" follow the link here http://www.brendan-perry.com and support your loved artists! This one is really worth it!

You're definitely right Blessedheart!! Brendan is often overshadowed by Lisa's persona, whereas he's an awesome singer in his own right! He deserves as much recognition and attention imho. I could name many DCD songs which are masterpieces, with Brendan as the main/only vocalist, "Rakim" is one, "Song of the Dispossessed" is another, and now "Children of the Sun" of course ;)
