"French Kissin' In The USA", aka "French Kissin'", is a song by the American singer Debbie Harry. It was the lead single from her second solo album Rockbird. The song was written by Chuck Lorre, who would go on to create a series of successful sitcoms and produced by Seth Justman of The J. Geils Band. The song peaked at number 8 on UK singles charts and number 57 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song also charted in South Africa, Belgium, Australia, Canada, West Germany, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands and New Zealand. Debbie Harry also recorded a French version of the song as well as a dance and dub version of the song. The song has been covered by Ginger and Carol Chapman.
