Eleven-The-End
As impressive as all the AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA's are, the most powerful one is at the end of the song, that primal scream.

Eleven-The-End
This is hands down the Best Heavy Metal album of 1970 - I know Black Sabbath also had two albums that year, but In Rock is superior and the best hard rock / Metal album of that year, were it not for Led Zeppelin releasing Led Zepp 3 which only had like 3 heavy metal songs, that would be also on the list. But In Rock is one of the best albums ever made, it's almost impossible to think this heavy metal masterpiece was created 53 years ago, absolute masterpiece.

For sure. :) Also, I know a lot of people regard Black Sabbath to be the first heavy metal album, that and Paranoid, but I'd have to say Led Zeppelin 1 and 2 were already heavy metal 1968/69, the whole album might not be fully heavy metal, but they do hold the #1 heavy metal song with Dazed and Confused, it fits all the criteria about heavy metal song, dark lyrics - check, Heavy riffs - check, rough screams - check - fast drums, and just all around heavy sound - check.. Dazed and Confused for me is the first true heavy metal song.
