Tbh, out of all the other "Nu Metal" albums, i think this is the closest to Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$. That being said tho, i don't mean it's a bad thing at all! Both are underrated af!

There’s moments in this record, that have far more in common with that super dense, raw and heavy 90’s metalcore sound than they do nu-metal. Only Deftones I never spent a lot of time with and I think I will come to regret waiting so long.

This album has been growing on me in a big way, just like Self Titled. Alot of the lyrics here are pure nonsense, but still hit. It's just a raw and badass album. There are a few rapping sections that give it nu-metal vibes, but it's pretty unique sounding overall. I think that's part of the reason I like it so much, I don't think there's really much else that sounds like this and delivered in this way

Для меня лучше этого альбома у Дефов нет ничего. Впервые услышал его в 2007, когда с друзьями играл в группе. Так пропёрся с ритм-секции и истеричного вокала, что переслушиваю его до сих пор. Последующие работы такого восхищения не вызвали, так, пара-тройка цепляющих треков на альбом, а всё остальное - унылые сопли. Последний альбом так вообще залупа.
