Biography
Delaise's pristine song configuration and unique sound comes from a wide range of styles including jazz, fusion, and rock. These influences blend to create an aesthetically pleasing sound that is only enhanced by the improvisation and spontaneity during live performances.
Delaise is a three-piece band based out of Devon, Pennsylvania, and first started creating music in high school with bassist Michael Berger and drummer Phil Cuddeback. Soon to be added was guitarist Justin Berger, who ultimately makes their full sound what it is. The brother connection combined with the adaptable drumming by Phil adds thematic layers and direction to their music.
Their influences started with The Strokes and now has brought them through Phish, The Disco Biscuits, Lotus, The Mercury Program, and Wes Montgomery. Being introduced to jam bands has had a huge impact on Delaise's playing, and they strive to produce well developed jams throughout their live performances.
