Great concert at the Guild in Menlo Park, CA tonight! Six highly talented musicians, each of whom got a chance to shine. Such a unique fusion of sounds, lots of love for these guys. Thank you for coming to our sleepy little town. Just wish you had played Ghost Voice! Next time.

С сомнением относился к этому камбоджа-ревайвлу, но потом чуть внимательнее ознакомился с сабжем - вот старые хиты в новых аранжировках у них выходят очень слабыми, а когда работают над собственным материалом, то получаются годные ништяки типа One Thousand Tears Of A Tarautula.

Since you listen to Dengue Fever you may also like reading my article on Cambodian music. http://www.laboratoriummuzycznychfuzji.com/2013/06/labopedia-muzyka-kambodzy-panstwa-w.html If you like it you may also click "lubię to" button to like my website (on the right handside of the page). "Dengue Fever’s psychedelic take on the Cambodian pop sounds of the 60s " It makes it seem like the psychedelic part was their idea, and not integral part of Cambodian rock of the latter half of the 60's and the first half of the 70's. They're pretty good, yes, but they're essentially revivalists.

OK, review and photos finally posted (Eugene WOW Hall show). Direct link: http://pacificlectic.com/2012/02/09/secretchiefs3-oregon2012/ Due to a late night and a long drive home, I sadly didn't get to stick around for DF's set in PDX. :(

I would like to connect the turkish band Baba Zula to Dengue Fever. They come from totally different edges of the world, but both use traditional music and instruments for their great psychedelic sounds.
