Biography
Dianne (Stylized as DIANNE) is the new musical endeavor from classical trained Dutch singer Dianne van Giersbergen (Ex Libris, ex-Xandria).
The vision for "DIANNE" was unearthed on the 13th of September 2022, exactly 5 years after her departure from Xandria, Dianne announced her return into symphonic metal through the creation of her own solo album: “Soulward Bound”, under her own name "DIANNE". The album will embody the drive and devotion that guided Dianne on her journey towards finding herself again. To have the album mirror her journey, “Soulward Bound” will be released in a new and unconventional way: spread out over 5 years, with 2 singles released each year. The debut single After the Storm was released on February 14th, 2023.

Dianne van Giersbergen and Anneke van Giersbergen are both Dutch symphonic metal singers with the same last name. They are not related, but share a common last name, which is also the name of a small village in the Netherlands. They are both known for their strong vocal abilities and have achieved notable success in the symphonic metal scene.
