This going back and forth between the bands and their respective fans is really ridiculous, they unfortunately picked our name to use and we don't mind one bit, did you all know there are literally hundreds of bands named Diatribe around the world? We adhere to anarchist beliefs and as such we believe copyright and trademark are bullshit. That being said, we are an active band that has been around for nearly 30 years now and in a timeline that should be acknowledged, we still put out new music and we still play shows. Nothing but respect for our fellow musicians in the coldwave Diatribe...this last. fm account needs to be sorted out so there isn't as much confusion and their biography doesn't come up every time someone searches our music and vice versa...as for mr. teddy_grrram that was a famous quote from Maximum RockNRoll which we never really agreed with we are recognized as the first American Anarcho D-Beat band around the world...cheers to all

Now that I also have all singles / EPs of them (the industrial rock one), I can say it was worth ordering them. But I wish the song "Meathook" would be longer, not just 1:27 minutes. But problem solved, I just play this song like 3 times in a row. And also damn lucky, I found the songs "Needle Park" and "Cockeyed Motherfucker" uploaded on youtube.

The REAL Diatribe is the San Diego anarcho/D-Beat punk band that's existed since the early 80's. "imitations"...pfft. The "cold wave" band can take their lame shiny pants and walk into traffic.

1. They didn't wear shiny pants. As if that would matter what-so-ever. They can wear whatever they want. 2. They're not "imitations". As stated above, plenty of bands with that name. The #4 Diatribe on the list was around in 1984. There wasn't even just 1 band by that name then. We know there were at least 2 that year. And none of the respective bands sound alike. 3. "Cold Wave" is appropriate. It refers to a specific genre of American industrial music that is still around today. Mainly to describe bands from a specific American label(Re-Constriction). One of the labels bands is mentioned A LOT on this page. There are even 3 Cold Wave Festivals being held in NYC, Chicago, and LA this year. 4. Your hatred of a band that's done nothing to you is baffling. I don't listen to the punk one but sure as hell don't want them to be harmed. You should question why you want the industrial one to be.

Untagged from "[tag]under 2000 listeners[/tag]" at 2030 listeners. It will take a while for the change to show.

I wish they would make separate pages for the different bands. It's so lame to open the radio thinking its for the band you want and you get songs for the other one.

I see, that one picture isn't official anymore. well thanks for that! I think i'm totally falling in love with a few songs from their self-titled album (I mean the Industrial Diatribe), these are "Land's End", "Sick The Dogs" and "Four Fifty One". druggy and addicting as US-Coldwave has to be (with a few exceptions).
