Biography
Digitalman is an electronic music producer from Minneapolis Minnesota. He was influenced by 70's disco, funk, and rock. Bands ranging from Parliament-Funkadelic and Blondie to Kiss were early influences. Later progressive bands such Yes, Rush, and Dream Theater were the order of the day. Techno/Electronic music has always been an interest even from a young age. Buying his first synthesizer in 1983 from Radio Shack, the Concertmate MG-1, started him down the path to producing electronic music. He adopted the artist name, “Digitalman”, after the song titled “Digital Man” by Rush to pay tribute to over 20 years of being a fan.
