Biography
Dj Melodie (Real Name Tina) is loved and adored by fans all over the world. She has been producing and mixing for nearly 10 years and has created 16 legendary CD mixes. The self-made female deejay developed her love and passion for music at an young age of 10 while learning the piano. In the mid nineties she began to develop her interest for electronic music and deejaying and was inspired and influenced by deejays such as Tiesto, ATB, and Alice Deejay.
Having been exposed to the scene and having a network of friend that were deejays, it was inevitable that she would start mixing and producing. At the age of 19, she created an unreleased mix called "Vertigo" and "Orion". Shortly after that, she released her first official CD mix "Illusions." Later, she became well known for her Melody of Voices series and the most popular "Sacred Sky", "Misty Clouds", and the most recent "DayDream," "Aura", "Hypnotized" and "Magic Melody" Albums.
Invited at various events and raves, Dj Melodie has played at various private parties in and around the Bay Area. She has made special public appearances at several clubs in and around San Francisco and Silicon Valley which includes clubs such as Sound Factory, Eclipse, Club Vertigo…
She has also produced smash hit remixes of titles such as "This isn't love anymore," "My Valentine" and many others. She is soon to release a number of new remixes which includes "Always" and "Say it Right."
Tina grew up in California, USA and currently resides in Northern California. To many, Dj Melodie is more than a deejay but an entertainer. Fans are amazed by her refreshing and unique style of playing music, remixes and track selections. She mixes quality tracks that both excite existing fans and bring new people to the scene. For Melodie, music is her first love. She shares this passion and feeling with everyone through her catchy and provocative mixes. You feel her when you hear her and you immediately understand the love she has for music.
