Dogstand are a "prog-pop" band from Bromley in Kent (South-East London) and formed in 2000.

The band were formed from the ashes of brit-pop band Bum!, and led by songwriter and guitarist Graeme Martin. They have multiple influences including brit-pop, progressive rock, punk and techno.

The current line-up stands as Graeme Martin (Lead vocals, guitar), Paul Langford (Lead guitar),Si Keefe (Bass), Leo VK (Keyboards) and Jimmy "Dirty Boy" Martin (Drums).

After a lengthy hiatus from gigging, during which they recorded their debut long-player "Wonky Love Songs", they began playing live shows again in February 2012 for the first time since 2007. The song "Here Comes Devil Dog" won them a place in the "Hard Rock Rising" heats at the Hard Rock Cafe in London.

"Wonky Love Songs" was first made available to buy in CD format at Dogstand shows during April and was then released on iTunes worldwide on Monday 30th July.

In February 2013, "The Assistant" (from the "Wonky Love Songs" album) was played on BBC 6 Music as part of Tom Robinson's "Introducing Mixtape". The band also began receiving regular airplay on local station Croydon Radio.

Previous band members include Carli Dogstand, Irene Schrunner, Stuart Soulsby, Dani Brito, Rob Lewis and Mike Konold.
