Biography
Don Scannell is from Monkstown on the Southern Irish coast but now lives in London.
He originally trained as an accountant but released his debut album ‘Three Silver Pieces’ in May 2011.
During his early teens, Scannell learnt to play the piano and grew fond of practising blues style twelve-bar ‘ditties’, which has certainly influenced his musical stylings in later life - hauntingly delicate vocals and soft piano melodies, mixed with the occasional electronica inspired percussion to create his blend of leftfield folk music.
