Biography
Dondolo is French man Romain Guerret, who has previously released for Ladytron's Invicta Hi Fi label. His influences range from Talking Heads, The Buzzcocks, The Fall, Dick Turpin, Inspecteur Derrick, French B movie music, Kraftwerk, Pixies, La Glue, Joy Division, Prince, Abba… Here he debuts for Tiny Sticks with a brilliant jangley punk funk-esque instrumental. Brooklyn's Brennan Green roughs it up by getting out his rudest bass guitar and drum kit and re-doing it live while DFA's Shit Robot teams up with James Murphy, their wives and Nancy Wang for a distorted disco hoe-down.
