Biography

The debut for Dose's EP "Ashes of Winter" was independently released on Friday, June 13, 2014 and available for free digital download! Combining elements of groove metal, death metal, thrash metal and progressive metal - experience the raw power and relentless guitar riffs of Lamb of God combined with the bleeding vox and vicious hooks of Gojira and that's DOSE.

The band started recording in April of 2014 just five months after its inception with producer and former Chimaira member Rob Arnold at his Cleveland, Ohio studio. The disk includes three originals including "Don't Forget Tomorrow", "God Doesn't Live Here" and "Ashes of Winter" along with two bonus old-school tracks featuring seasoned punk/hardcore vocalist Don Foose of The Spudmonsters, Foose and Run Devil Run.

This project was formed in November 2013 by the Morrow brothers - drummer Jeff Morrow and guitarist Jay Morrow along with his son and guitarist Jake Morrow in Cleveland, Ohio shortly after a beloved family member tragically passed away. This extreme distress led to their first few recording sessions for their self titled debut. Within a few weeks, bassist Mike Marczak joined the band and vocalist Jack Sabolich came on-board in February of 2014.

The Dose debut is filled with filthy riffs, grooves and growls and this hard-hitting line-up is just getting started. The band is continuing to sculpt an even heavier more melodic sound and is already looking forward to getting back into the studio to lay down more tracks during the coming winter months.
