Hmm what is new about this? Are they re-recording any material or is this just a showcase? It is time anyway for Dragon Guardian to release another album with Leo Figaro on vocals.

Dragon Guardian sounds like Manowar? Just when you thought you've heard everything on this world! Anyway, is there any news for an album coming out this year?

Kouta is featured in the new band [artist]THOUSAND EYES[/artist] which is a side-project from [artist]THOUSAND LEAVES[/artist]'s leader Bach. They mostly keep playing the same style as the recent Thousand Leaves albums, which is nice :)

Both 'Ouga'-albums are very nice too, I love YAZIN's addition to Dragon Guardian's usual sound + Leo Figaro's vocals as well, Legend is my favorite of them :D

@darkonyxswe Backing up Pathfinder, they're very, very good. Dragon Guardian has to be my favorite japanese power metal band, right up behind Galneryus and Balflare, if not just Galneryus. Both albums this year were excellent and I can't stop listening to that 8-bit sound of Fairytale!

By the way, if you like Dragon Guardian, you should definitely check out the polish symphonic power metal band "Pathfinder", really awesome :D

@Metalion_SOS: Well, nothing stills beats IRON ATTACK's constant album releases which gets released in an even faster rate :P

They wouldn't be half as fun without the narration/dialogue (even though I don't understand a word of it), it's part of their charm.

Whats the point of those narroration parts? These interludes should have been a bass/guitar/piano/synth solo, not random people talking anime style. Its just filler to me. I want power metal, or at least music for that matter, not a roleplay between undeveloped generic anime characters.

For those who asks, the Female vocalist in Dragonvarius and Shinjitsu no Sekihi is as has been said, Fuki, the singer from UM and LB, Shes my fav maybe because I have listened her a lot. However, things must be said, Myrtha in Harukanaru Chigiri did a f*cking and epic job, her voice is a damn delight and those choruses and instrumental fffffffffffff so EPIC! The singer or singers, not sure now in the first album however, are unknown for me as I didnt pay that much attention there, liked the instrumental but the vocals were pretty weak, well, is was the start :D. And as you guys said, where is my Fuki and Myrtha omg. Leo Figaro sings cool, but I prefer the melodic and symphonic stuff with female vocals and if they are awesome, as they were, even better! In general, the second, third and fourth album are the bests. Please Arthur, call once again Myrtha and Fuki and make them sing together in choruses in the songs!

Dragonvarious is the best one so far... Listened to that new one called Ao no Shishi and at first I was actually glad to hear the voice of a male vocalist for a change. Track two, three and four have played and I started to miss that female voice and the symphonic elements... I don't know why so many great symphonic Metal Bands Try to go hardcore lately, but I really don't like it... Same with the new Spellblast album... sad I just hope the new Dragon Guardian album is gonna be more like the old ones.

The female vocalist is the same one in Unlucky Morpheus and Light Bringer. she's still in Dragon Guardian too as far as I know, maybe not in every song now though, thats a lot of work she has to go through.
