Never mind the Muse comparisons, the song 'International Blue' by the Manics pretty much uses the chorus melody from this note for note! Admittedly probably just a coincidence but that's not going to stop me singing the lyrics of one over the other.

Muse isn't as old as DT, but this song is still obviously influenced by them (particularly "Take a Bow" and "Map of the Problematique"). This is pretty cool.

Dream TDT's been around since the early 90s, I didn't think muse was that old? Though,. Pt was influenced by Opeth. The standard DT vocals are there. I hate the spoken word stuffage.

Considering I despise Muse, it is quite surprising how much I enjoy this song. [3]

Ha! Pretty aMUSE-ing! This song does sound like Muse with the synth lead and the falsetto from James LaBrie. Today I was listening to some songs from Muse for the first time and then I went to shuffle through my DT albums when this song came up and I noticed something familiar.

Yea, there is a definite Muse influence... especially in the falsetto. But it's still a decent song.

Yah the song sounds quite a lot like Muse later work. It's even kinda weird for DT to me, but I like it. For the people who don't understand, it's referring to the "space-ish" sounding (that's how I'd describe it) part starting 1:35; sounds like knights of Cydonia stuff. It's kinda obvious, but I guess being a Muse hater doesn't help^^'

I think what I like about this tune is that LaBrie isn't nearly as horrendously annoying as usual.
