Levitating is a dance-pop record taken from the Dua Lipa’s second studio album ‘Future Nostalgia’. The remixed version, produced by The Blessed Madonna (formerly known as The Black Madonna) and including Madonna and Missy Elliott’s vocals, was released on Friday August 14th. A few weeks before the official announcement of the remix, there were rumours regarding a potential collaboration between Dua Lipa and Madonna. Eventually, Dua Lipa made public the rumour was a fact through an Instagram picture, in which appeared Madonna, Missy Elliott, Mark Ronson and Gwen Stefani, hinting the possible future collaborations. The remix reached the #3 on worldwide iTunes the day of its release.
