Biography
Durty (Aaron Waters) is a house and trance producer in Monterey, California. After releasing a small indie album in 2004 titled, "Nautical," he helped found Digital D&A Music with Viticus (Mike Veitengruber), Achilles (Stephen Steelman), and Dekota (Jim Deasey), all who were part of the D&A Music promotion group located in San Francisco. Durty's role was mainly of engineer for many of the label's release, and after the label went defunct in 2008, he began to really refine his mostly harsh electro and progressive house sound. In 2007, a collaboration with Ali Wilson of TEKELEC Recordings, "Jericho," climbed to #2 overall on Trackitdown.net's online store. Durty keeps busy with original and remix work for Vibrance Recordings (SF, USA), Mizumo Music (SF, USA), L8-Night Records (USA), and Proud Sound (UK).
