Biography
Dusty Frank is a musician/singer/songwriter originally from New York now living in Southwest Florida. He was the founding member and leader of two of New York's premier regional bands, Moxie and The Refrigerators.
Dusty began playing guitar at age 5 and started his first band "Evolution" at age 10. He started many of his own bands throughout his teen years and went on to play professionally through his adult years until 1998 when he was seriously injured in a car crash which resulted in over 10 spine surgeries and left him with three numb fingers on each hand .
In 2000 he began taking therapy to learn to play his guitar again. In 2008 he launched his solo career, and in 2009 his first solo album "Full Circle" was released. In October, 2010 he received the 2010 "Collective Works Songwriting Award" in the "Song Of The Year" songwriting contest for his Full Circle album.
