Eat the Day is a progressive metal project created by Wes Borland, Scott Borland and Greg Isabelle. The project was originally started in 2001, but ended up being shelved indefinitely due to the band not being able to find a suitable vocalist.
In April 2020, Wes announced via social media that there would be an album release of the previously recorded demos. On April 8th Eat the Day released the album The Demos.
During an interview with Daniel P. Carter, Wes revealed there was still some unreleased demos floating around and that he was currently trying to find them. He said that when they've been found, they would be released as "some sort of addendum". On May 6th 2020 the album The Addendum was released.
