NEOTOKYO and it's OST are probably the most remarkable things I came across, not gonna lie.

It's been 4 years since Neotokyo was released. I had a blast with it but I haven't played it in a year. But I never stopped listening to the album.

Every beat, every sample and instrument from Neotokyo is perfectly placed in the context of its songs creating the most beautiful aesthetics I've heard so far in electronic music. I mean let's take for instance the part from the second half of "Annul" where he uses some extremely short saxophone samples, I can't help but laugh at amateurs such as John Coltrane and Pharaoh Sanders, who spent weeks milking their saxophones to come up with minutes of material that has less weight than what this guy did here. It's not even about skill anymore, Ed Harrison is a visionary, and he can create more relevant art than most people if you gave him a stick instead of a set of drums. DJ Shadow and Burial should take some lessons from this guy.

I can't believe a humble source mod would have such an incredible soundtrack - I don't think I'll ever stop listening to it.
