Released in early 2020, No Future is the second full-length outing from Irish indie electronic artist Eden. After shifting from the more straightforward dance music of his early days as the Eden Project, Jonathon Ng forged a successful new path as Eden, combining soulful R&B-inspired vocals with elements of textured electronic pop, rock, and dreamy ambience, especially on his 2018 debut, Vertigo. At 19 tracks, the ambitious No Future takes a similar, though somewhat lusher path path than its predecessor and explores themes pertaining to self-awareness and climate change.
