Ellen McLain is a singer and actress from Nashville, Tennessee. Ellen provides voices for many characters in several video games from Valve. Among them are GLaDOS, the antagonist in Portal and its sequel Portal 2, the announcer in Team Fortress 2, and the voice of the Combine Dispatch for several games in the Half-Life 2 series.
