You're a cool dude. Thanks for that personal account; I love the way that music relates to all our lives.

i could talk about how this song reminds me of being 16, driving around dark country roads with the girl i loved, enraptured in that fleeting state of maturation between blissful nostalgia as the memories are illuminatingly-borne and the cutthroat ruthlessness of our 20's and middle age, both of which come and pass too quickly- or i could talk about how musicians like elliott, with low self-esteem, a strong tendency towards self-deprecation and extreme, prolific talent, are criminally underrated and whose songs relate to those fleeting, tragically-beautiful, yet quintessentially-mortal moments in our lives, so similar to elliott's pyrotechnic life: but i would never be doing the song justice. kiwi maddog 20/20

@VacantSewell: for some reason, it doesn't feel uplifting to me. Taken out of the context of the album, sure, it's a pretty light song. But I can't ever think happy thoughts when hearing it because of the content of the rest of the album. With that being said, I really do love this song and think it's probably the best instrumental track Elliott ever did.

Also, a response to Burtosa (that he will, presumably, never read): My personal favorite sound ever created happens at about 1:02 of the song (going into :03). Fucking great.
