I listened easier albums before and remembered that one of them is better. After a long time decided to re-listen them. Indeed, Hold Your Breath better IMHO

embrace the eternal and their demos are amazing, everything after that is awful... and agreed with this... 'The fuck is "mid-paced grindcore"? Either you grind or you do not, there is no "mid-paced."' 'embrace...' is more akin to deathcore, but way heavier than most, some of the crispiest sounding guitars i've ever heard, and awesome songs.

I generally do enjoy their later material, especially The Narrow Score of Things, but Embrace the Eternal...that was an insane album. I can't help but wonder what they might have produced next if they stayed on that track...I know some of the members formed The Famine, but it's just not the same.

These guys totally rocked my world circa 2000 - 2003. I was such a fan…I even won an Industry Demo for "Songs for the Living". even though that last album wasn't really one of their best ones.

remember when embodyment was a death metal band? they should have changed their named after that. this music is for a different genre/for a different fan. definately should have changed their name after embrace the eternal.

Everyone, keep tuned to this Embodyment page over the course of the next week or so. There might be more new Embodyment songs than I thought. It seems like people keep popping up with one more or so. The latest I heard, which is yet to be confirmed, is that Embodyment actually popped out 5 new songs. I will keep you all informed on this site. Stay tuned!

I loved these guys back in my crazy Xian "if there's no screaming it's not worth listening to" days.. Then I bought "Hold Your Breath." That album had a profound effect on me as a music lover, and helped ween me onto onto a whole new world of music as a mature music listener. HIGHly underrated album. Still one of the maybe 4 albums I've never gotten tired of listening to.
