Biography

Evi Goffin (born 27 February 1981, in Antwerp, Belgium) was the vocalist of the Belgian musical group Lasgo. Also she was the vocalist for another Belgian group called Medusa, and featured on songs by Fiocco and 2 Fabiola.

Goffin has been acclaimed as one of the most melodic voices of the dance and trance genres after her performance in "Alone" from the group's commercially successful Some Things album.

John Parker of Robbins Entertainment confirmed that Evi took some time off for her child in March 2007. On May 23rd (2008) it was confirmed that Evi Goffin had left Lasgo. It was later revealed by Goffin herself, that she had no intentions of leaving Lasgo, but had several conflicts with her management. Evi also made mention that their management tried covering the truth up by saying that she took time off for her children. Evi was replaced with vocalist Jelle Van Dael.

Evi has recorded new music with Swedish dance producer Alex Sayz. The single is called Hate To Love and was released in late 2009. Evi has expressed interest in continuing forward with her music career outside of Lasgo. In late December, The song "Hate to Love" was released on Youtube.com
