Fantastic album. So solid it's honestly almost astounding at times. 10 tracks, 54 minutes, all killer no filler, great production, great lyrics sung by Zetro at what's probably his best... can't praise this enough. An absolute benchmark for modern thrash metal records.

Great album - groove, thrash, or otherwise. Souza's vocals capture the vile lyrical content really well.

Eh, it's decent. I know this is very well loved album. I couldn't get into it. I'll give it another chance at some point in the future.

I have the same problem with any post-Bonded Exodus i've heard. Nothing just comes close to that iconic debut of theirs for me! But yeah, it's a decent album. I just think Overkill does this kind of thing better.

Oh i didn't know he used to sing for Testament too. Well, thank god they switched singer before the debut then, because Chuck Billy is miles better than that guy! P.S. i haven't listened to Fabulous Disaster yet, but i've heard it's their best with him yeah.

It is their best with him. I totally recommend it. Pleasures of the Flesh (the first album with Souza) is actually not bad. Paul Baloff did sing on the Pleasures of the Flesh demo and it's unfortunate he's not on the final product.

Pleasures i really didn't care much for, i don't think i can really get into Souza's vocals sadly. They always ruin the album for me :/

Dukes criticized how predictable and poor the band was becoming lyrically and sound, reading your comment I see he was right. Unfortunately they sent him off

This album is cheesy and a bit cringe worthy. I'm a bit surprised people are suggesting this is their second best album, but I guess it is what it is.

Yeah, "Bonded by Blood" is extremely cool, but... this "Tempo of the Damned" ist the best :)

You should listen to D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. by Destruction . One of the most criminally underrated thrash metal albums ever

2nd best for behind Bonded By Blood and one of the best post-2000 thrash albums for sure.

Great comeback album. IMO a couple songs lag "Blacklist" "Shroud of Urine" and "Culling the Herd", but the rest kicks ass. I think Zetro sounds at his best on this album, relatively speaking (I don't care much for his Bon Scott style on the other albums). I like the modern production sound as well. The riffs are awesome, and the solos are huge. Also, probably their most cohesive album since BBB.

Brilliant album. So many old school metal bands- thrash, death or otherwise- have attempted comebacks and have failed miserably. Exodus have shown them how it's done.

Best Exodus album with Bonded By Blood! Apart from the fact Gary Holt is a rifmaster, he also writes fantastic lyrics. This album is my soundtrack!!
