On “fallen alien,” arguably the most powerful and energetic track on the album, twigs continues the discussion on the difficulty she faces fitting in and feeling properly represented as a woman.
On the song’s Spotify Storyline, twigs described the track as:
"'a medieval march through the destruction of a relationship.'"
On the one year anniversary of 'MAGDALENE', twigs hosted an AMA about the album and shared that the final version of the track kept the original demo vocals, as it was “hard to recreate the emotion!”
