Just discovered them through A Perfect Circle’s cover of The Nurse Who Loved Me and I’m gutted that another great 90’s band passed me by for so long. Magnified is a lost grunge classic. So many good songs on that album.

this feels like a fever dream but iirc it started all due to Joe Rogan spreading misinformation about covid on his podcast (he is exclusively on spotify) as a result, many people ended up leaving the platform in protest. The protest didn't end up doing anything, seeing as Rogan is still under exclusive contract + Spotify is making their billions. I would assume the first 3 albums are still on Spotify for mandatory licensing reasons (all 3 were released under slash records) but I can't really verify that lol. Anyways, Bandcamp is one of the better ways to support artists so I'd say it's worth the investment if you have the money !

I think they are, yeah. I wouldn't define them as REPLACEMENTS to the originals, but they definetly sound pretty good! I guess my only gripe with them would be the drums that sound a tad bit overproduced but all the rest of the instruments and vocals sound great.

Removing their music off a platform and supporting cancel culture? What if they just didn't care about a goddamn podcast or whatever? Pitiful, laughable...

i have a pm2.5 headache while i'm listening so i will need to do another run later, but so far this is sounding like it might be their best album since the '90s. nothing too dynamic or in-your-face, but i'm digging the steady tempos and chill vibe

Really started appreacting the 2020 mixes of Comfort and Magnified, at first I was kind of not into them that much, I was so accostumed to the originals that I found them to sound a bit strange, but the way they make the songs sound richer really grew on me and I find them great!

Hearing new Failure material is like receiveing transmission while being alone on a longass flight to other system. Makes you feel Comfort. Makes you think that Fantastic Planet is reachable.
