"West Coast Smoker" is the 13th track on Fall Out Boy's 2008 album Folie à Deux. The track closes Folie a Deux in a spectacularly aggressive fashion. The speaker of the song (and by extension, the entire album) admits to their own insanity while providing commentary on the current state of the world that surrounds them.
Pete Wentz has confirmed that Folie a Deux as a whole was not written from his perspective. This might explain why the album closes with this abrasive song as opposed to “What A Catch, Donnie” – a song that Stump had considered to make the record come “full circle”.
Debbie Harry of Blondie provides the vocals for the first half of the chorus.
