Fateborn was formed in January 2004 by the guitarists: Kamil Tynecki and Piotr Gęca. Although the two are deep-rooted in the genre of industrial death-metal, they decided to distance themselves from their former projects and embark on something stylistically different. Soon, they started cooperation with Radek Grygiel, a drummer with similar death metal experience. The next to join the band was the bassist Emil Socha, and, eventually, the vocalist, Bartek Ziemba.
