I was so skeptical after the lukewarm IO and then Joe and Frank left.....boy was I proven wrong. This is absolutely brilliant.

These days I'm listening to APSOG on and on....I can't help considering Part XII the best prog composition ever heard...but it's "only" the natural acme...the unique crowning achievement of a stunning masterpiece.

I'll kinda be late here, but I'll say this is one of the best albums I ever heard.Although I'd need some quick explanations about the story.I know it's about introspection and a man looking back in his life at the time of a rainy day but I understood no more.Whatever.This album owns.Especially the drum parts that are incredibly hard and yet fit perfectly. The voice is tremondously beautifull too.

APSoG is the best progressive metal album ever written, period. Not even Operation Mindcrime, not even The Art of Navigating by the Stars, not even Images and Words can top it. Those come close alright but only APSoG stood the test of time this good for me.
