Biography
Fatum Black is a vocalist/music producer/arranger/mixing engineer from Kyiv, Ukraine. One of the brightest representatives of contemporary electronic music, he engaged in sound production since he was 14 years old and has created/contributed to dozens of releases in a variety of genres, from ambient to grindcore. Fatum is mainly known as the frontman and founder of the Ukrainian electronicore act Mad Essence. In the 2009, together with a team of artists, writers and musicians he founded the creative association 'Fatum Squad', in order to promote innovative experimental music, which subsequently became a part of VMBRELLA. Fatum considers himself to be a transhumanist, striving to channel the audience's attention to the ideas of the movement through his work. Trent Reznor, Akira Yamaoka, and Utada Hikaru are among his major inspirations.
