Biography

Stefanie Jamaica Pschill aka Fawni (born 17 July 1985) is an Austrian singer-songwriter, artist and actress. She is known for her remake of the controversial song “Lick it”.

In her teens Fawni moved from Vienna to London. She received musical training with several leading teachers and worked on a few small television and film projects. She also worked alongside her brother the actor Alexander Pschill known best for his role as “Kommissar Rex” in the Austrian P.I. show.

In 2003 Fawni left London for Los Angeles on recommendation by her agent. There she began her training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she undertook extensive studies in acting, singing and dancing. She was scouted by the producer Kamil Rustam.

In 2003 she joined the girl group “Goddess” who split up 2004 due to management conflicts.

She continued to record tracks in Los Angeles, New York, Vienna, London, and Stockholm with producers such as Herbie Crichlow and Ari Le Tennen from the Max Martin Team. In 2008 she accepted a European deal from Sony BMG.

Fawni’s art is inspired by modern and pop art masters such as Andy Warhol, Jasper John, Basquiat, Lichtenstein and Rothko.

In March 2007, Fawni attended the international art fair “Art Expo Las Vegas " and "Art Expo New York". Her work being well received was soon commissioned for a variety of local art exhibitors. Today you can find works of Fawni's art at "Raw Style Gallery" in Santa Monica, California.

Her completed work is available in both slide format as well as an online presentation.
