Biography

R.I.P 2017-2019

In the year of our Lorde 2017 a bunch of mates from various Sydney pop punk bands decided to join forces, and thus was Fiveash borne. Consisting of Josh Mackay (Kiss Me, City Light Satellite), Steve Francis (We Take The Night), Cody King (We Take The Night) and Josh Iliffe (Sixteen Days), Fiveash recorded their first single, Losing Sleep, and eagerly played their first shows. they were very sh*t but they had a very good time and made many good mates.

Come 2018 Fiveash entered the studio with old friend and producer Rich Mammoliti (played in Breakaway, a great band) at Electric Sun Studios (it's the studio where bands record their debut ep or album or whatever and then get signed to a label and get big e.g. Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly, With Con, Tonight Alive, BYAM etc etc etc) but anyways back on track they recorded their two track 'After Everything' and played even more shows.

They were still a bit sh@t I'll confess but they were improving and things were looking up.

2019 Fiveash entered the hallowed hallways of Electric Sun once again with good ol' Liti (that's what he calls himself when he wants to look cool). After an arduous couple of months their debut ep 'Move on for Now' was born. The band went in a darker direction in this ep, influenced by the trials and tragedies that are all too often experienced in life and perhaps by the current feelings of the band at the time. Unfortunately before the release of the ep in the December of 2019, the four members of Fiveash decided it was time to move on, just as the prophetic ep implied.
Even though we're not coming back the memory will stay.

Fiveash lives on through anyone who listens to their music.
