The harmonies remind me of Crosby, Stills and Nash, that's certainly not a bad thing. I love how they pay homage to their influences while fusing them with their own sensibilities.

This is just unfairly good. Few other folk artists of the modern era can hope to match this standard of quality.

My favorite Fleet Foxes song. The choral vocal harmonies in "The Plains" are deeply haunting, ancient and mystical in the shadows, and then the triumphant ascension into the light at the end of "Bitter Dancer".

incredible song, the harmonies are amazing and the switch between instrumentation is amazing :)..... exceptional lyrics, they shouldn't be undermined, lines like 'midnight feeder, beggar, pleader i should had known one day you would come' just oozes so Vividly :)

What a wonderous, mesmerising, rich, rich, rich thing of utter beauty. May well be one of the greatest tracks of the year for me.

Great stuff, really feels like their songwriting's moved up a step since their debut. Perhaps it's the Roy Harper influence... But as great as this is, the harmonies are straight out of David Crosby's If I Could Only Remember My Name - at least they chose a very worthy source!
