I like both versions, altough I prefer this one. It's much more haunting and Green really pours his soul and agony into the guitar solo. The best Fleetwood Mac version is on Live in Boston Vol. 1 and the best Santana version is on Lotus with Leon Thomas on vocals.

Listening to the album "Boston" released in 2013, a repackage of three nights of live performances at the 'Boston Tea Party' on February 5-7, 1970. Features the original Mac of Peter, Jeremy, Mick, John, Danny. Recorded just three months before Peter was voted out of the band for demanding that the band members go on salary and give the excess profits to charity (suffering mental illness brought on by his bingeing on LSD). This album is 31/2 hrs of the best live music around. For serious Green Era Mac fans only.

I like both the 'bluesy' and the 'poppy' Fleetwood Mac. What's not to like in either?

both versions great, Carlos and Peter. But the gut-wrenching, haunting beauty of the Peter Green (and the early Mac) version would always be my choice. Eeeegads we loved this period of music.
