Biography
There are two artists by the name Flywheel.
1) Flywheel is an exciting new band out of upstate New York with a fresh sound and an impressive pedigree.Stephen Bell, Pat Gasperini, Jason Terwilliger and Jerry Terwilliger have been playing modern rock music to the delight of audiences across the United States and now they have joined forces to form a band with both experience and passion. Members of Flywheel have toured extensively for the last several years with bands such as Fuel, Buckcherry, Collective Soul and the Cranberries.In addition they have played a number of large radio festivals across the country that included national top 40 acts such as Staind. Perhaps their crowning achievement was their rousing performance at Woodstock '99 where they played on the main stage. Flywheel is known for its exhaustive touring schedule, sometimes playing as many as 250 shows a year.Their self-titled record was an independent smash, selling nearly 10,000 copies through their touring efforts. They have a loyal and dedicated following as evidenced by their consistent top 10 charting on leading industry websites like Alternative Addiction and GarageBand.com. Also featured on Hardline(Roxie's Radio and Rockline Radio).They have also had radio success, charting as high as #13 on the Aggressive Rock chart. Sponsored by Jagermeister. They are currently working on a new album to be released in 2005 but before that you can catch them, as they get ready to tour the east coast in 2004.
2) Flywheel are from Melbourne, Australia and have a meloncholy sense of humour - gentle melodies and social insights. They have released four albums.
