Real, working nurses at one of London's busiest hospitals, The Nurses’ daily routine is a million miles away from the photoshoots, TV appearances and glamour of their chart rivals. The Nurses are set to prove that sisters really can do it for themselves. Society's unsung heroes are coming out singing.
The Nurses are set to take to the charts in the Spring with the March 14th release of their debut album Guiding You. 25 pence of each sale of the album ‘Guiding You’ is being donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, celebrating its centenary in 2011.
The Nurses love their jobs and are not looking for a new career but with this emotional collection of songs, they want to both sing from the heart and make a real difference.
Gaynor Wood, Jo Austin, Andrea Darke and Sharon Robinson all work together at The Whittington Hospital in London but their shared love of singing has brought them even closer together and gave them the push to work with a top production team to record the album of classics and three especially written songs.
