What lifted Free above most others of this style? Apart from the obvious i.e. Paul's voice and Koss's amazingly emotional guitar-playing, it's the rhythm section. Simon's unfussy yet powerful drumming but most especially Andy's melodic yet funky bass-playing, which seemed to go off on a completely different tack to most other bassists in this genre.

I love this track. Free were one of the greatest bands. This is the first song of theirs that I heard. It was on the Island double album 'Bumpers' , which was one of my first favourite records.

I'm starting to really like Free. I hadn't listened to them much before, but they're pretty awesome.

This band back in the day set a standard for vocals as well as the rhythm and was never given the commercial exposure they deserved.
