Biography
The band was created in autumn 2001 by the foundation threesome : Cholda, Hujer and Vanja. After a brief collaboration with the drummer Babik, this role was given to Prema, a drummer in a band from Melnik, NOISE. The very first concert was held in 2002 with other hosting bands at Prague’s legendary 007 club at Strahov. From then on, FDK toured different corners of the Czech Republic as a foursome. They shared the stage with e.g THE SWITCH, FREAK PARADE, DREADROT, AMBROSIA, THE CHANCERS, ANYWAY, RAVELIN 7, SUMA /SWE/, FIVE KNUCKLE /GB/, etc.
FDK’s sound changed throughout the times. The original dense sound was gradually extended with melancholically harmonizing lines using clean and distorted guitar sound. The fifth electronic element was added by the last member to join, Babb. Autumn 2005 was spent by practising a studio work. The DEMO-EP Fuck da Karot was relleased in the beginning of 2006.
Currently the band is working on their new material for their future LP, but are still looking for a label to release it.
FDK mixes experimental emo-HC with metal and rock elements.
