Last Chance For a Slow Dance, который я открыл для себя только пару дней назад (не знаю почему он мне до этого два года не нравился) тоже очуменен. Хороший альбом ёпта мохнатка, че кота за яйца тяну.

I don't know, but I have the feeling this album is a little bit overshadowed by their other ones. I think that's crazy since this is one of my favourite albums ever. It captures the great punk essence of their first records combined with the sonic experimentation of their later albums, with that combination it makes it a perfect album. It's basically their "Revolver", the turning point in their career. Guy's just phenomenal here, all his tracks here are nothing but perfect, he was the John Lennon of post-hardcore with his songwriting on this one, although I believe they all wrote their songs together (but you got what I meant). From Smallpox Champion to Cassavetes to Walken's Syndrome, he's flawless throughout the whole album. When both Ian and Guy sing the line "SURRENDER, REND IT, IT'S YOURS" in Rend It, it's just the best thing to hear, almost reminds me of Lennon/McCartney singing together (I'll stop the Beatles comparisons). It's rare to find an album whose all tracks are perfect.

Guy's songs are what makes this album worth its salt. Like I said before, Ian sounds pretty bad here at times. This seems like it should've come out before Steady Diet of Nothing, which is more of a piece with Red Medicine (a masterpiece of an album, by the way) than IOtCT.

I may ruffle some feathers by saying this, but this is probably my least favorite Fugazi album. Now don't get me wrong, it's a great album, but it's just a little too "shout"-y for me; I don't have anything against loud, angry music, but after the subtler, moodier Steady Diet of Nothing I was expecting something a little more in that direction. There are plenty of really good songs here but Ian's vocals are verging on self parody at times, sounding like his tongue has been removed and he can only bark unintelligibly.

The Fugazi album I've listened to the most. I paraphrase but Woody Allen said that there's great sex and really great sex; I think Fugzai albums are a bit like that :-)

Full of great songs, along with Repeater the only Fugazi albuns that I've fell in love in the first listen

Best and most varied of their work. Going from Last Chance for a Slow Dance to Great Cop really shows Fugazi's sonic diversity.

Yes and no - it's the inside cover. The front is a picture of the Washington Monument.
