Biography

TOM PORCELL
Tom Porcell fell in love with electronic music already in the mid nineties. Music was always his true passion and a dream became true when he started to do his own productions back in 1997.

After releasing some stuff on German underground labels he had his major breakthrough in 2001 with Norman Bass "How You Like Bass", a massive big room anthem which was released on Ministry of Sound in the UK. This track reached all major dance charts worldwide and with his growing reputation and success he started working with international artists AYU, Alphazone, Brain Twinz, Marc Van Linden, Slusnik Luna and Warp Brothers just to name a few. He is also part of Saltwater, the project resposible for the massive trance anthem "The Legacy", a huge Tiesto favourite in 2003. Ín 2004 he founded his own production company "Sunscape Music" working closely with his new partner who shared his passion for deep progressive trance.

KEVIN SIEJA
It all started in my big sisters´ room, where I heard a record of Depeche Mode for the first time. Since that moment I fell in love with electronic music. Over the years I lived through many different musical genres, but the biggest inspirations came from the Dark Wave / EBM Parties. At this point I decided to program electronic music for myself. In the early90s, the first productions were created, using a simple keyboard and an 8-track sequencer. As time went by I collected more items and built up a little studio. At the end of the nineties, first contacts to some underground labels had been established, followed by the first releases.

In the beginning of 2000, I met Tom. First, we produced on our own in different studios, but at the same complex. Three years later we spontaneously decided to produce something together. The first cooperation resulted in the production of "Tom Porcell - Final Cut", which had been released on the Dutch label Somatic Sense Vision.

After Final Cut we do something new. Funabashi - Daylight was born. We sent it to Markus Schulz and he released it on his Label Coldharbour Recordings on Armada. We get so much support from him and others DJ´s that we decided to do more with our new Project Funabashi……..and here we are!!! Do alot of Remixes for Artist like Markus Schulz, Hiver & Hammer, Matt Darey just to name a few.
