After working with Too $hort on “Show You The World,” he and G created another banger of a song. Too $hort is another bay area hero for G just like E-40, who is well known for his 1985 record Born To Mack.
"I had literally done this whole record myself, but I always had Too $hort in mind for this one. It’s that same kind of thing—with the Big Sean feature: Too $hort was one of my heroes; I grew up listening to him and now I’m able to hit him up and say, “I got this record I think you’d sound good on.” He came through and did it the next day. And he killed it. He gave me a classic Too $hort verse."
“Of All Things” stands out as a song to not just belittle, but taunt Young Gerald’s haters. His melodic hook pokes fun at people who take the time of day to go on the internet and talk trash.
