Biography
Waldo has written and produced three solo albums; ‘Dejame Tocarte’, a South American release through Sony imprint Leader, and ‘Loco’, which was released in Australia by FMG. Waldo had a No.1 single on Chile’s Radio Corazon with the title track from ‘Dejame Tocarte’. He also reached the No.1 spot with “Muerdeme La Lengua”. His songs are also gaining greater exposure in South America through a brace of top selling compilations there. Waldo is no stranger to the Latin American charts with production and writing credits on two hit singles for rising Latino singer Rachel and he can also claim to being one of the first contemporary Latin writer/producers to sign with the giant Warner Chappell music publishers. Waldo has also written and produced music for the hit Australian film ‘Strange Planet’ and a number of artists locally including Robyn Loau and Mark Walton. His diversity is further emphasised through his role as founding member of Australia’s pioneering jazz outfit ‘The Catholics’.
