It's definitely much better than anything they released after Wind & Wuthering.

You lambasted Invisible Touch as being a cash grab album, but you're willing to defend this album where a bunch of teens were told by their producer what to sing about, and where the producer added in his own parts to make it more marketable. I do think this album is pretty good for what it is. I just feel like your position is more based on personal preference than legitimate concern over how authentic the music is artistically.

I too think it's a good album, but I have to agree with @Machine here. To say that this is better than any of the Phil Collins led albums is just personal bias seeping through.

Nowhere near their best, but it's a lovely album of art-pop songs that have aged well.

sounds more like: "hi guys, lets look what instruments any of us can use.. oh and by the way - who can sing?"

Unbelievable! I wish, wish, WISH I could hear this in its entirety, without these awkward pauses between tracks...!

If anyone could recommend me some CDs like "From Genesis to Revelation", where the music is just simply beautiful, I would be grateful :) Music, all I hear is music...

I'm liking this considerably more than when I heard it years ago. With just a little less echo/reverb it would probably sound significantly less dated and cheesy. Let's demand a remix!
