Down in the Bunker is the release this band has deserved for decades. Finally it shows us the band as the great performers they are.

It's irritatingly stupid how some people always judge this as if it were associated with nazism. The lead guitarist Cäsar explains everything here (and even apologises to those who got the wrong ideas): http://www.krautrock-world.com/Forum/myBB/showthread.php?tid=332 So basically the guys of German Oak smoked a lot of weed, drank a lot of booze and recorded these awesome jams with no political intentions whatsoever. They later gave these recordings to some friend who would do the mixing and publishing and he thought it would be cool to make it a "concept album" with samples of Hitler's speeches, these kinds of track names and cover art etc. Well, I guess people back then were more tolerant and liberal than those superficial moralists of today who need "good" or "bad", "right" or "wrong" labels on everything they consume.

I thought this was one of the greatest krautrock albums ever, but now under the suspicion of them being nazis (must be the lyrics in all their songs)... I have to say it's shit. Therefore the once great (before I knew he was a nazi) Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries overture is trash too. Next step I'll trash all the music made by people who do (or did) drugs. (thanks bill hicks) "bad people = bad music" that's the motto from now on.
