Biography

Though a fresh act into the highly competitive musical realm, Giulietta has won praise from her fellow industry peers via her natural pop vocals and unique and identifiable market image. Whilst fame can often blind, Giulietta has remained humble and gracious in her achievements, crediting her ongoing success to the support of her friends, family and mentors. Always singing in talent contests with her faithful and beautiful renditions of songs by Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion, even at a young age Giulietta had cemented herself as Australia's next pop diva.

A native of Melbourne, Australia, Giulietta branched out into into the musical network in the early stage of her career, by enlisting the services of renowned DJ and producer Marcus Knight. Knight was an early musical influence for Giulietta and would help to spawn her early sleeper hit ‘Dirty House Music’ (globally played and launching at number #4 on the BeatPort charts whilst being featured twice on the ARIA Club Charts). Capitalising on her first taste of musical delight, a scouting approach and pairing with multi-time Grammy Award winner David Kershenbaum was to follow. Kershenbaum was the genius behind stars Janet Jackson, Tracey Chapman and Bryan Adams. This latest joint-venture produced Giulietta’s debut album 'Ascension' – which was released on April 13, 2010. 'Ascension' featured mixing by Rob Orton (Lady Gaga) and Chris Cox (Britney Spears, Rihanna) and spawned a remix of the hit single 'Vertigo' by US Billboard chart topper Dave Aude, granted social and statistical success, reaching #16 on the 'US Billboard Dance Charts'. In conjunction, the 'Vertigo' video clip premiered across the US on CoolTV and Yahoo Music, generating a promising, imminent buzz.

Whilst the young starlet continued to stamp her impression on the popular music industry, critics and media personnel began to feature her in publications 'The Herald Sun' (Australia's market leader in family and social oriented newspaper) and 'Today Tonight' (a highly rated Australian current affairs program). Domestic success soon spread abroad, as Giulietta was honoured with an 'International Pop Artist of the Year Award' at the 'Los Angeles Music Awards' in Hollywood (where she also performed her song 'Here We Go Again') in November, 2009. She was also recognised with the 'Producers Choice Award' and a 'Hollywood Walk of Fame Award', establishing her as one of the globe's most highly anticipated artists for the future.

After a brief hiatus, Giulietta returned to her native residence to begin writing and recording her first home-grown record '911: Code Pink' with local producer Simmy. This fresh musical alliance produced the artist’s first free album release, exclusively for fans online and apprised her first collaborative album work with featured guest artists Raz-B (B2K), Tay Dizm (Nappy Boy) as well as a host of other new-coming acts. The record, though taking on a different creative approach to 'Ascension', establishes an edgier, electro-pop side to the fundamentals of the musical capabilities within Giulietta's arsenal. The singles 'Like a Ghost', 'Pixelated' and 'Voodoo', lifted from 'Code Pink', have given Giulietta's fans a new slew of danceable pop tunes that have garnered comparisons to the Minogue sisters and Australian DJ Havana Brown. Originally set for release on November 19, 2011, '911: Code Pink' promises to be an innovative treat for pop music listeners, creating a new access-point to fully involve fans in the #TeamGiulietta movement.
