This album was released in 1996 by a Celtic band in Houston, Texas. Gordian Knot consisted of Fae Lenihan on vocals, Ray Younkin on vocals and guitar, Amy Price on vocals and fiddle, and Cidnie MacNamee on vocals, flute and bodhran. It was produced by Loose Goose Productions.
Robbie Parish, Peppy Oliver, Chuck Ivy and Anderson Johansson were all guest musicians on this album.
The name 'Gordian Knot' was used once more by this band for their second album named 'Jenny Adair'. The band name was later taken by the current band using it.
